SCTC portfolio of services includes NCCER’s complete series of entry and journey level assessments. These assessments evaluate the knowledge and skill level of an individual in a specific craft area. All assessments are based upon the Contren® Learning Series curriculum and have been developed in conjunction with Prov™, NCCER’s test development partner.

NCCER also offers a series of academic tests for secondary career and technical education. These tests can assist states in implementing statewide accountability systems.

Credentials

After successful completion of a written assessment or performance verification, an individual’s qualifications are tracked through NCCER’s National Registry. These industry credentials give employers confidence in the craft professional’s skill, knowledge, and desire for continuous professional development. They also provide the craft professional with industry-recognized credentials to help build upon their career in construction.
